The continental breakfast in our room was mind-blowing! The bed was super comfortable, and the room was spacious and jaw-droppingly clean. Surprisingly, it was quiet on a Saturday night, even though it's located near a pub. We were lucky to snag one of the limited parking spots on-site. The reception helped us book a table at the bistro, and the pub meal was delicious, especially the steak and roast of the day. We were impressed with the historic town and its lovely park, and next time we'll stay longer to explore. The location is excellent, right in the center of a beautiful town and close to wineries, beaches, and other attractions of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The staff, particularly in the restaurant/bar area, were friendly and efficient. The meals were good, although they could offer some smaller or "senior" options. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff, meals, wine, and beer were all excellent. The balcony with chairs and an ashtray was a pleasant surprise, and the super comfy bed made for a great night's sleep. The hotel is huge and full of old-world charm, with plenty to do. Strathalbyn itself is lovely, with numerous shops, but the highlight for us was the beautiful river green lawns and gardens right outside the hotel, where we could feed ducks. We'll definitely be back soon!

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super peaceful, and the staff were the friendliest ever! We loved having the option of breakfast included, and the continental breakfast in our room was jaw-dropping. The bed was so comfortable and the room was huge and spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was, despite it being a Saturday night at a pub. And we were lucky to snag one of the limited parking spots available. The staff even helped us book a table in the bistro, where we had a delicious pub meal. The steak and roast of the day were both amazing. We had such a great time exploring the historic town and the lovely park nearby. Can't wait to stay here again!

This hotel is a great value for money with clean facilities and a generous continental breakfast included. The location is perfect, right next to a lovely park and close to shops. The staff are friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
One aspect could be improved - the access to the rooms. The hotel is located upstairs and there is no lift access, which can be challenging for guests with luggage or mobility issues.
